New carpet for the main prayer hall

Alhamdulillah, the main prayer hall has been re-carpeted. The previous carpet had been in place for more than twelve years and had worn thin along the front rows, which made sujood uncomfortable for our elders.

The new carpet has clearly marked rows, which helps straighten the saff and lets us fit two additional rows in the same floor space. The work was carried out over three days between Fajr and Dhuhr so that no congregational prayer was missed.

We are grateful to every person who contributed. May Allah accept it from you and make it a continuing charity for you.
